Listen to Spring’s footsteps!
As winter fades, light and warmth quietly return. Our concert Towards the Spring Light invites you to step into a musical landscape where spring unfolds. Like early spring sunshine, the music carries hope, vitality, and a sense of renewal. Through this concert, we celebrate the presence of spring’s warmth and energy with you.
The programme presents a wide-ranging selection of works spanning diverse regions and styles. It includes traditional music inspired by Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Taiwan, and the Yi ethnic group. We also have contemporary creations such as original compositions by our conductor Anna, imaginative adaptations of video game and popular music.
Inclusiveness lies at the heart of this concert. Chinese traditional instruments perform in dialogue with Western instruments, blending distinct timbres and musical languages. Through this collaboration, we aim to create a vivid and immersive experience—one that celebrates diversity, connection, and the shared joy of welcoming spring.
