Get ready for a side-splitting, heartwarming, and mythologically medical adventure!
This year’s Addenbrooke’s Charity Pantomime presents The 12 Sign-Offs of Hercules – a medicine-themed musical comedy where Disney’s Hercules collides head-on with the trials and tribulations of clinical school.
Hercules, once a brilliant but burned-out FY2, finds himself sent back to medical school after a spectacular mishap. With the help of clinical supervisor Philoctetes, a host of friends, and a whole ward’s worth of mythological patients, Herc must discover what it means to be a true doctor.
But standing in his way is the fast-talking consultant pathologist Hades, determined to dismantle the NHS one competent doctor at a time — starting with Addenbrooke’s golden boy. With Gina and Mia, his bumbling mafia-style minions, by his side, Hades has a plan to turn Herc’s burnout into his downfall.
Featuring laugh-out-loud sketches, show-stopping songs, and the kind of in-jokes only medics can write, The 12 Sign-Offs of Hercules is a big, bold, over-the-top panto where friendship, resilience, and self-discovery are the real prescription.
All proceeds go to Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and other healthcare charities — so your laughter helps patients too.
