As one of the ‘big three’ G+S shows, CUGSS are delighted to be bringing HMS Pinafore to West Road Concert Hall for the first time in almost a decade! When the daughter of the Captain of a Royal Navy ship falls in love with a lower ranking sailor [shock horror] chaos erupts, centering on how love transcends themes of Victorian morality, class and expectation all wrapped up in the wonderful music and memorable lyrics audiences know and love.
