UCPO May Week Concert

Beethoven, Mendelssohn & Brahms

The University of Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra (UCPO) will be concluding the academic year with a typically ambitious programme.

We are delighted to welcome back experienced violin soloist Laura Rickard and cellist Henry Hargreaves (both at The Royal Academy of Music) to perform Brahms' Double Concerto in A minor. This will sit alongside Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4 in A major ('Italian') and Beethoven's Egmont Overture. Our conductors are Matthew Gibson and Steven Fairbanks.

The performance will take place in the dramatic surrounds of Queens' College Chapel, with refreshments available during the interval.
