UCPO May Week Concert

Tchaikovsky, Haydn & Sarasate

Note: Tickets for this event are no longer available to buy online, but can still be bought on the door with cash.

The University of Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra (UCPO) is delighted to present our May Week concert. Now in their second academic term with UCPO, our new conductors Rebecca Doherty and Sasha Sneyd will be holding the reigns for Tchaikovsky’s Marche Slave in B-flat minor and Haydn’s Symphony No. 101 in D major (‘The Clock’).

In addition, we are excited to welcome back Royal Academy of Music graduate Laura Rickard to perform Sarasate's 'Carmen Fantasy' and 'Zigeunerweisen' for violin and orchestra. The concert will also feature selections from the much loved Lord of the Rings motion picture soundtrack.

Refreshments will be available to purchase during the interval.
