UCPO Lent Term Concert

Borodin, Schubert & Beethoven

The University of Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra (UCPO) is excited to present our varied Lent Term programme.

We open with Borodin's enduringly popular symphonic poem 'In the Steppes of Central Asia'. This is followed by Schubert's enigmatic Symphony No. 8 in B minor, commonly known as the 'Unfinished Symphony'. Finally, the orchestra will perform the celebrated 'Eroica Symphony'; Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 in E- flat major.

Our conductors are Laura Dunkling, Stephen Fairbanks and Matthew Gibson, the latter two working with UCPO for the first time.

Refreshments will be available to purchase during the interval.
