The Fourth Cambridge Brahms Festival - orchestral concert

Now in its fourth season, the Cambridge Brahms Festival brings together over a hundred student performers and visiting speakers for six days of celebration of the life and work of Johannes Brahms. This year sees a varied programme of instrumental, vocal, choral and chamber music over five free recitals, concluded by a ticketed orchestral concert in Trinity College Chapel. This final concert welcomes back the Empyrean Ensemble under the baton of Music Director Edward Reeve for performances of Brahms’s epic First Symphony, and his much-loved Double Concerto, featuring soloists Emma and Joy Lisney.
