The New Cambridge Sinfonia present a Spring programme of music from two countries with unique musical traditions: Denmark and Austria.
The young clarinettist Joseph Shiner joins us for Nielsen's Clarinet Concerto, and the rest of the programme is made up of pieces by the greatest of Viennese composers: Mozart (his overture to 'The Marriage of Figaro'); Beethoven (music from the ballet "The Creatures of Prometheus'); and Schubert (his Symphony No. 3).
