Krysia Osostowicz and Daniel Tong in Beethoven Plus part three

Beethoven

A performance of all Beethoven’s violin sonatas by Krysia Osostowicz (violin) and Daniel Tong (piano) in a series of four recitals in March (8th and 9th) and May (13th and 14th).

In the Beethoven Plus project ten composers were invited to write miniature companion pieces to be performed alongside each sonata creating a dialogue between past and present.

THE HEILIGENSTADT YEARS: Kurt Schwertsik – On the way to Heiligenstadt. Beethoven – Sonata no 6 in A, op 30/1. Jeremy Thurlow –Mehlschoberl. Beethoven – Sonata no 8 in G, op 30/3. Philip Ashworth –Air. Beethoven – Sonata no 7 in C minor, op 30/2.
