Mahler Symphony No. 9

Mahler’s 9th Symphony is the last symphonic work he completed and one of the most iconic pieces of the 20th century.

In this concert the top musicians from Cambridge University are joined by exceptionally talented young musicians from the East of England, graduate students from London Conservatoires and top professionals from orchestras including the Hallé, RPO, LSO, London Sinfonietta, Philharmonia and Vienna Philharmonic.

This concert is a celebration of cooperation between musicians at different stages of their careers and the value of music education.

All proceeds from the concert will go to the Voices Foundation.

West Road Concert Hall is one of Cambridge's premier music venues. Ideally situated only minutes' walk from the famous Cambridge Backs and King's College, it is renowned for its superb acoustic qualities.

Please note there is restricted viewing from some of the balcony seating.


Three wheelchair spaces are available in the concert hall with easy access at ground floor level throughout the building.

The main entrance to the venue has a double width door, with a push button for automatic opening.
