Melons at the Parsonage
When two groups become joint winners of the Barnley Operatic Group's festival fair, the rules decree a tie breaker. Each group must perform an excerpt from their own play then one from the opposing team. The ensuing mayhem is a fast and hilarious journey through the performing arts.
The Droitwich Discovery
Four thespian enthusiasts find themselves in a dusty attic in Droitwich, an unlikely place for a Shakespearean tour. Here they encounter Terry Shakespeare, embittered by his brother William's literary thievery. To prove a point he puts the visitors in a trance and makes them perform scenes from his plays 'Kevin and Juliet', 'A lot of fuss about very little' and others. This is a tongue-in-cheek look at the old master's work.
